The “Cowherd” Response To Colin Cowherd Getting A CBS Sitcom Deal

I went spanning the globe, er, internet today and came across this. To Hollywood (Reporter):

A popular sports radio talk show host has sold his life story to CBS for a sitcom deal.

The [Colin] Cowherd script sold as a multi-camera comedy to CBS, with writers Bill Martin and Mike Schiff attached (Hank, Grounded For Life), as well as executive producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men).

Cowherd himself has a producer credit on the untitled project, which is at CBS TV Studios.

This is a terrible idea for CBS and it will ruin American television for the next 20 years. For the next…20 years…You can remember this one moment in time because for the next 20 years, American television is ruined. Just a terrible idea. Next 20 years, you read it here first, folks. Ruined.

Pissing Off All Of Kentucky & Washington DC Just Wasn’t Enough For Colin Cowherd

Colin Cowherd, whose radio show has been in and out of more markets than a shopping cart on Thanksgiving weekend, decided to get a little more attention for his ESPN mid-morning yakfest by ripping on John Wall again.

It’s so obvious what he’s doing. Cowherd chides Wall for doing a silly dance, but he’s the one taking the online media on this continuous stroll around the floor. At least have the courtesy to dip us, Colin. This dance is, frankly, ridiculous, but of course we’re going to take his lead and spin ourselves into the ground.

That’s what we do. Because we hate him. Because he’s terrible.

Nick and I discuss the comments by ESPN pundit and attention grabber Colin Cowherd, who said yesterday that John Wall is an idiot and a bad human being and, well, here are some of his words, via DC Sports Bog:

“J Wow’s 37-second Yo dawg look at me I’m the man [dance], and his wild, out-of-control style, everybody else is buying his stock, and it told me all I need to know. He’s gonna end up on the Iverson, Francis, Starbury [side]: great stats, nine All-Star teams, never play with good smart players and an elite head coach. He’s gonna drive people nuts.

“My daughter’s 10. Ten years old. She knows the difference between right and wrong. My daughter knows what Randy Moss did is wrong. She’s 10. The haves get it early, the have-nots never do. Look at me, I’m great, I’m unbelievable.”
